Yuikaori - Shiny Blue

                                                      Madou Monogatari (PS Vita) OP

Tracklist:

1. Shiny Blue
2. Hatsukoi Meizu (First Love's Maze)
3. Shiny Blue (off vocal ver.)
4. Hatsukoi Meizu (off vocal ver.)

1. Shiny Blue

This would be your typical cute and idol-ish song. Somehow, I really don't want people to associate anime and game music with groups like Yuikaori, because all they do is voice act moe characters through the whole song and imitate AKB48/Morning Musume/Your idol of choice. Well, at least the upbeat technopop arrangement caught my attention for a little bit, even if they have zero singing ability.
Rating: 5

2. Hatsukoi Meizu

Sugar, spice and everything nice. More cute is thrown in here, but with the slower tempo, it actually works. The synths are used more creatively paired with acoustic guitars, and this is something better that I'd listen to (although the vocals are still in character song mode >.>).
Rating: 7

I'll definitely be off listening to something completely different than this, but if cute is your style, go for it. My overall rating is: 6

The comment box doesn't bite ; be polite when feeding it, though.
